Five more held in conncection with assualt on social activist
Panaji, Oct 18 (UNI) Police have arrested five more persons in connection with the recent assault on social activist Advocate Aires Rorigues and his friend Prajal Sakhardande.
North Goa Superintendent of Police Bosco George today said they were arrested yesterdy from a hotel in Mahableshwar by a team of Goan policemen with the help of Maharashtra Police. They were brought to Goa today and remanded to seven days police custody.
All the five arrested are in the age group of 18 to 23.
''All the eight, including three arrested earlier in Goa, are suspects in the assault case,'' Mr Bosco added.
