Aged man burns 11 year old girl after molestation bid

Jaipur, Oct 18 (UNI) A 60 year old man tried to burn alive an 11 year old girl, his close kin, following latter's resistance to alleged molestation.

According to police, accused Salam had set afire the victim after sprinkling kerosene oil on her body in Lal Kothi area here yesterday afternoon after the girl opposed his molestation bid.

The girl was admitted to the SMS Hospital here with 90 per cent burns and her condition continued to be critical.

The accused has been arrested, the police said.
