EU announces 4.5 million Euro for Bihar and Nepal's flood victims

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) The European Commission (EU) has allocated an additional 3.5 million euro for the flood affected people of Bihar and one million euro to Nepal.

According to an EU release here today, the EU had earlier contributed two million Euros.

These funds will be used for food, shelter,water and sanitation, primary health and protection and will be channelled through the European Commission's partners in the area,NGOs and UN agencies.
