Bypoll for Hardoi Assembly seat on Nov 15

Lucknow, Oct 16 (UNI) The bypoll for the Hardoi Assembly seat in Uttar Pradesh would be held on November 15, state Additional Chief Election Officer Amrit Abhijat said today.

The notification would be issued on October 18, while the nomination would be held uptill October 25 and scrutinised on October 27.

The contestants could withdraw their name upto October 31, the officer informed.

The people would franchise their votes on November 15, while the counting of the votes would be done on November 28.

The seat had fell vaccant after the resignation of Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal.
