CDS asked to study impact of global financial crisis: CM

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 15(UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthandan today said the state government had authorised the Centre for Development Studies (CDS) to study the adverse effects of the global economic crisis on the state.

Talking to reporters after the weekly cabinet meeting here, he said the government asked the CDS to conduct a study in this regard and submit an interim report to the government within 15 days.

The CDS is a social science research institute based here.
