BJP industrial wing condemns handling of power situation

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 14 (UNI) The industrial wing of the the BJP today sent hundreds of telegrams to Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to condemn erratic power supply in the state.

Tamil Nadu BJP unit Industrial wing Secretary Rajappa Rajkumar alleged that poor planning and inefficient handling of the power portfolio by the state electricity minister Arcot N Veerasamy, industrial activities were suffering, resulting in huge losses to the state exchequer.

Despite this, the Chief Minister and the electricity minister were concentrating on other activities, he alleged He said Mr Karunanidhi must strive to improve the power position in the state at any cost. Otherwise, people will teach a suitable lession to him.
