7 killed in boat capsize in Arabian Sea
Jamnagar, Oct 14 (UNI) At least seven people were killed and 15 others injured when a boat, carrying around 40 passengers, capsized in the Arabian Sea today.
Police said this morning, a group of Muslims left Bedi port in Jamnagar to offer prayers at a 'dargah' on Piroton Island, 22 nautical miles from here, when the mishap occurred.
A preliminary report reaching here said the bodies of the dead and the injured have been brought to the civil hospital here.
Meanwhile, the Coast Guard and Jamnagar fire brigade personnel continued the search for survivors.
