Netaji Maha Sammelan to be held in Rupnagar

Rupnagar, Oct 12: Netaji Subhash Kranti Manch, a nationwide organisation of followers of the great freedom fighters, will organise a Netaji Subhash Kranti Maha Sammelan from November 21 to 23 at Rupnagar.

Giving this information during a press conference here today Netaji Subhash Kranti Manch convener V P Saini said the Maha Sammelan would be attended by more than 300 delegates from all over the country including relatives of Netaji, some veterans of his Indian National Army, freedom fighters, academicians, Leftist and other leaders, Netaji-linked NGOs besides MPs and MLAs.

Mr Saini said the Maha Sammelan would concentrate on the ways to 'Rebuild an India of Netaji's Dreams' and to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Netaji.

Besides, a statergy would be chalked out to force the Centre to accept the findings of the Mukherjee Commission of Inquiry on Netaji.

A very rare pictorial exhibition on the life of Netaji would also be displayed and literature on Netaji would also be made available during the Maha Sammelan. In addition, an exhibition on the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh would also be displayed.

He also announced that such programme would be organised next year in Singapore on October 21 to commemorate the formation of Azad Hind government in Singapore in 1943 by Netaji.
