Cabinet to take up Goondas act tomorrow

Puducherry, Oct 10 (UNI) A decision on the implimentation of the Goondas Act in the union territory will be taken up in the cabinet meeting tomorrow.

An all party meeting convened by Chief Minister V Vaithilingam to discuss the issue tonight evoked mixed response with different parties expressing their view in support and against the act.

On the government side, the Chief Minister and Home Minister E Valsaraj participated in the meeting.
