Union Bank to offer 10.5 pc interest on deposits for 900 days

Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Union Bank has launched a new scheme, offering 10.50 per cent interest per annum for a deposit slab of 900 days.

The scheme, effective from October six, has been introduced in view of the upcoming festival season and due to the current scenario in the financial market, wherein the general public is looking for bank deposits as an investment avenue yielding safe and assured returns, a release said here.

Deposits for the period of one year and above attracts interest of 10 per cent interest per annum, the release added.

Senior citizens will continue to get additional interest of 0.50 per cent per annum over the card rate on domestic term deposits of one year and above.
