Police on look out for Kannada film producer in murder case
Bangalore, Oct 7 (UNI) The city police have launched a manhunt to nab Kannada film producer Govardhanamurthy, who allegedly shot dead an actor at a resort here last night.
Police sources said in a shoot out that occurred at a resort on the outskirts of the city, the actor, identified as Vinod Kumar, was ''gunned down'' by Govardhanamurthy, in an inebriated condition, gunned down the actor identified as Vinod Kumar.
Vinod Kumar was attending a party hosted by the producer when a heated argument ensued between the duo resulting in the shootout, the sources said.
The actor, who was rushed to a private hospital with bullet injuries, breathed his last this morning.
Govardhanamurthy, who is also an actor, had recently produced a big-budget Kannada movie 'Maadesha.' UNI MV SJ RL PM1717
