Women commits suicide in Bihar

Jamui, Oct 5: Altogether three women and a child were killed in separate incidents at different places in Jamui district last night.

Police here said a woman, along with her two children, jumped into the Nadi dam at Chadhara village under Jhajha police station following some family dispute. The woman and one of the children drowned in the dam while the other child was saved by the villagers.

In another incident a woman committed suicide by swallowing poison at Ketaribagh village under Khaira police station following family dispute.

In a separate incident, the villagers of Ketaribagh shot dead a woman blaming her of practising witch craft.
