Undertrial prisoner dead

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 4 (UNI) An undertrial prisoner lodged in the central prison died here today.

Police said Subramani (43) hailing from Kaduvetti near Musiri was lodged in the prison in connection with a murder case.

Due to some ailment he was admitted to a hospital where he died today, police added.

Revenue divisional officer, Tiruchirapalli is holding an inquest.
