K Swamy of R K Swamy/Hansa Group is new AIMA president

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Srinivasan K Swamy, chairman of R K Swamy/Hansa Group, has been elected as new president of All India Management Association (AIMA).

He succeeds Mr Kewal Handa.

Mr K Swamy, in a release here today, said ''AIMA is a knowledge organization that facilitates organizations and individuals to realise their potential optimally and look forward to facilitating AIMA achieve its objectives in an effective way.'' Sanjiv Goenka, vice chairman of RPG Enterprises, will take over as Senior Vice-President, while Gautam Thapar, chairman and chief executive officer of Avantha Group, was elected as Vice President of AIMA.
