Minor girl killed, 11 injured in road mishap in Punjab

Kapurthala, Sep 29 (UNI) A minor girl was killed while eleven members of her family were injured in a head-on collision between a van and a tractor-trolley on Sultanpur Lodhi-Dalla road here today, police sources said.

The deceased has been identified as Navneet (12) resident of village Brahampura near Tarn Taran. Seven of the injured have been admitted in a civil hospital at Sultanpur Lodhi while the remaining four were admitted at the local civil hospital.

According to police, the victims travelling in a van were returning to village Brahampura after paying obeisance at a Gurdwara at village Dalla when the accident occurred.

Police has registered a case against driver of the tractor-trolley.
