Mobile services hit as miscreants damage towers in Bihar
Gaya, Sep 28 (UNI) Mobile services in several parts of south Bihar were severely affected after suspected Maoist guerillas damaged a number of cellphone towers in the district today.
While the miscreants torched some towers, others were rendered non-operational by inflicting damage to them, police said.
In this fashion, as many four mobile towers at Rohsanganj and Dumuria areas, belonging to two major private operators in the district were damaged.
However, efforts were on to repair the damaged towers and restore services at the earliest,the police said adding a manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
