Kuwait to blacklist some Indian universities
Dubai, Sep 28 (UNI) A high-powered education delegation from Kuwait will soon visit India to blacklist some Indian universities and enlist some good ones.
A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education will pay a visit to India soon to source some recognised Indian Universities and discourage Kuwaiti students from studying at certain varsities that it does not approve of.
The delegation is currently waiting for the approval of the Minister of Education and Higher Education Nouriya Al-Sabeeh to go ahead with the visit.
They said they expect the Minister to approve the visit after the Eid holidays, the Kuwait Times daily said.
The visit is especially aimed at striking off those Universities from the list that Kuwaiti students prefer to study at, just to get financial benefits.
This was the main reason why Kuwaiti students were banned from studying at some universities in Bahrain and Egypt.
