AIADMK to stage demo on Sep 30

Chennai, Sep 28: The main Opposition AIADMK will stage a demonstration in front of the Salem District Collectorate on September 30 in protest against power cuts, rising prices of essential commodities, non-availability of petroleum products and steep rise in price of LPG cylinders.

In a statement here, Party supremo J Jayalalithaa said people were put to untold misery due to rising prices and blamed the Central and the State Government for this.

She said the demonstration was also to condemn the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
