Place of worship attacked in K'taka

Mangalore, Sep 27 (UNI) In a fresh incident of attack, miscreants pelted stone on a place of worship at Shambur in Bantwala taluk in this district.

Police said yesterday that the glass cover of a Jesus statue on the compound wall of the place of worship was damaged in the incident.

Following the incident, security has been beefed up in the area.
