RRB Energy secures Rs 358.40 cr orders

New Delhi, Sept 26 (UNI) RRB Energy Ltd, a manufacturers of Wind Electric Generators (WEGs), today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 358.40 crore from Independent Power Producers (IPPs) for setting up wind farm projects.

''Securing such a large order was a defining moment in the history of the company. Many more IPP projects aggregating a value of more than a 1000 crores are under active negotiation and RRB Energy is the front runner for such projects,'' company Deputy Managing Director Sarvesh Kumar said in a statement.

The company, formerly known as Vestas RRB India Ltd, sees tremendous growth opportunities both in the domestic and in the export market, he added.
