Trilateral meeting on IPI gas project to be held soon: Pandey
New Delhi, Sept 25 (UNI) Petroleum Secretary R S Pandey today said the trilateral meeting on Iran-Pakistan-India (IPI) gas project will be held soon to resolve the conflict.
''Negotiations are due but we are on the right line towards progress. Trilateral meeting will be held shortly,'' Mr Pandey told reporters on the sidelines of a conference here.
The pricing issue of gas supplies through the international pipeline would also be resolved at the meeting, he added.
Two days ago, Iran and Pakistan had agreed to form a joint company to raise funds for the IPI gas project.
Earlier, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari had also called for the finalisation of the IPI gas pipeline project, saying India could join the finalisation of the deal.
