SER to run more festival special trains to clear rush

Kolkata, Sep 25 (UNI) The South Eastern Railway has decided to run another 20 special trains towards different directions from Howrah to clear rush of passengers during the ensuing festive season.

This is in addition to 66 special trains already announced, which would run during the festive season on different nominated days during the period from September 26 to December 1.

The Howrah-Vasco(Goa)-Howrah Special-0847 HWH-Vasco-Howrah Special train leaving Howrah at 2330 hrs on September 26 (Friday) would arrive at Vasco(Goa) at 1450 hrs on Sunday (September 28.) While returning the 0848 Vasco(Goa)-Howrah Special train leaving Vasco(Goa) at 0720 hrs on September 29 (Monday) would arrive at Howrah at 2225 hrs on Tuesday (September 30). The Special trains would run as per the timings and stoppages of 8047/8048 Howrah-Vasco-Howrah Amravati Express.

Howrah-Hyderabad-Howrah Special-eight special trains would run between Howrah-Hyderabad-Howrah on different nominated days during the period from October 1 to 10. The special train (0745) leaving Howrah at 1640 hrs woul arrive at Hyderabad at 2020 hrs the next day. In the opposite direction the special train (0746) leaving Hyderabad at 2300 hrs would arrive at Howrah at 0325 hrs the third day.

Howrah-Puri-Howrah Special-10 additional Special trains would run between Howrah-Puri-Howrah on different nominated days during the period from September 28 to October 27. The Special train (0895) leaving Howrah at 2055 hrs on every Monday would arrive at Puri at 0550 hrs the next day.

In the return direction the special train (0896) leaving Puri at 2200 hrs on every Sunday would arrive at Howrah at 0705 hrs the next day.

Booking of reservation would be made available from all computerised reservation counters.
