Tata Motors announces 18.75 pc bonus for employees
Jamshedpur, Sep 24: Tata Motors on Wednesday, Sep 24 announced a bonus of 18.75 per cent for the employees of its Jamshedpur plant for 2007-08.
According to a communique issued by the company here on Wednesday, Sep 24 the agreement to disburse bonus was signed by plant head S B Borvankar and labour union leader Rajendra singh. As per the agreement the employees will get a minimum of Rs 21,926 and a maximum of Rs 31,349 as bonus depending on their pay slab.
Meanwhile, another company of Tata group here, steel sheet producer Tinplate Ltd has also announced a consolidated bonus of 15.75 per cent (9.5 per cent bonus and 6.25 per cent as ex-gratia) for its employees for 2007-2008.
