ICAI denies conducting joint survey on corporate frauds
New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today described as ''factually incorrect'' the reports which said the ICAI had conducted a survey on ''Early Warning Signals of Corporate Frauds'' in collaboration with a Pune-based agency.
Denying reports in this context, ICAI President Ved Jain said the Institute had sought further details from Pune's concerned organisation -- Indiaforensic Consultancy Services.
It said ICAI, which was seized of the matter, would investigate and consequently take appropriate action.
