Police close to solve Jaipur serial blasts case--Home Minister
Jaipur, Sep 22 (UNI) The Rajasthan Police Special Operation Group (SoG) is nearing to solve the mystery in May 13 serial blasts which had left 68 people dead in the Pink City, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said.
Talking to the mediapersons here Mr Kataria said ''we are close to solution and the results will be known soon''. However, he declined to divulge in details and progress of investigation and said that details were not important.
Meanwhile, Mufti Abu Bashir alias Bashar, key accused in the serial blasts in Jaipur and Ahmedabad, was brought here late last night.
A SOG team has brought him from Delhi for interrogation and further investigations in case, police sources said.
Bashar was nabbed by Gujarat Police from Uttar Pradesh and during interrogation his involvement in Jaipur blasts was revealed.
Delhi Police had also taken him to Delhi to interrogate him in connection with September 13 blasts in the capital.
