Central team to assess situation tomorrow
Bangalore, Sep 22 (UNI) Karnataka Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar today said he hoped that a delegation of the Union Home Ministry and Human Rights Commission visiting the state tomorrow would make an impartial assessment of the situation on the attacks on places of worship.
''I hope the delegation would not be ''a political weapon to be used by the Centre'', Mr Kumar told UNI here reacting to reports of the Centre sending the delegation to take stock of the situation arising out of the attacks in Mangalore and Bangalore city.
''Let them come and see for themselves what action our government has taken in providing protection to minority christians in the state,'' he said.
