Heavy to very heavy rains likely at Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand

Pune, Sep 21 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra.

Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

The southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Uttarakhand and Marathwada and active in west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and coastal Andhra Pradesh. It has been subdued in Chattisgarh.

Heavy to very heavy rains have occurred at most places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Rains or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Assam and Meghalaya, Kerala and at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karanataka and at a few places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat state , Telangana, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar.
