A youth crushed by PRTC bus
Jalandhar, Sep 20 (UNI) A motorcycle-borne youth was today crushed to death when a state-run bus rammed into his vehicle near Nokodar Chowk here.
The accident occurred this evening when the motorcycle was hit by the PRTC bus from rear side, police sources said adding that the victim, Gursimran Singh, 19, resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar died on the spot while his bike was badly mangled.
A case regarding the accident has been registered and efforts were on the nab the guilty bus driver who fled from the spot, police sources said.
