Advocates agitate over blackmarketing of domestic gas
Gonda, Sep 18 (UNI) Advocates here today boycotted court proceedings and blocked Gonda-Lucknow Highway over alleged blackmarketing of cooking gas.
The law practitioners took to the streets and blocked the Highway at Ambedkar ring road for about two hours.
The agitators also burnt in effigy the district supply officer Piyush Ranjan, and handed over a memorandum regarding the same to the ADM Sukhlal Bharti.
Traffic remained stranded following the demonstration and people faced lots of problem.
