2.5-kg IED recovered in Ramban

Jammu, Sep 18 (UNI) Security forces today recovered an IED in Banihal area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here today said.

''Based on specific information, troops of 12 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 11 Sector RR, an IED weighing of 2.5-kg from Banihal area,'' sources told UNI.

The IED however, was later destroyed by the security personnel, they said.
