MP: RSS leader charged for beating up

Khargone (MP), Sep 16: A BJP leader was attacked and injured by a RSS leader after an argument over purchasing an item at a shop in Maheshwar in this district, police said today.

RSS leader Mahendra Yadav and his two friends allgedly attacked former MP Krishnamurari Moghe's representative Bhupendra Jain with a stick injuring him seriously yesterday. He has been sent to Indore for treatment.

The culprits also beat up an employee of the shop.

Mr Yadav had purchased some items from a hardware shop two days ago. He had an argument with the shopkeeper over returning these items. Mr Jain had come to intervene.

Some people staged a road blockade demanding arrest of the culprits. A case of attempt to murder has been registered.
