Naval Armament to be displayed to general public

Kochi, Sep 16 (UNI) To commemorate its golden jubilee this year, the Naval Armament Depot (NAD), Aluva, is conducting a two-day Armament Exhibition for the general public at the NAD campus.

The exhibition would be inaugurated by Director General of Naval Armament A G K Nair rpt. A G K Nair, a spokesman for the Southern Naval Headquarters here told UNI today.

Among the armament on display would be small arms like the 7.62 mm rifles and Naval Guns of different caliber and their ammunition.

Models of torpedoes and missiles used on board naval ships, submarines and aircraft would also be displayed, he said.
