Reduce syllabus, students of J
Srinagar, Sep 15 (UNI) Hundreds of students of different educational institutions today took to the streets demanding reduction in this years syllabus in view of the working days lost due to curfew and strikes in the valley.
The students of SP school boycotted their classes and took to the streets at Moulana Azad road.
Raising slogans against the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, the students under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Students Welfare Association (JKSWA) marched through different streets in the civil lines.
They said they have lost working days due to the curfew and strike during the past about two-and-half months in the valley.
We have not completed our syllabus therefore we demand justice, the students said.
They threatened to intensify their agitation if the syllabus was not reduced for board examinations.
