JD(U) denies RJD charge on flood in north Bihar
Patna, Sep 15 (UNI) The JD(U) today vehemently denied the allegation of RJD that Bihar government was suppressing voices of opposition on the issues related to catastrophic flood in North Bihar.
In a release here, national spokesman of the party Shivanand Tiwari said the allegation levelled against the NDA government on suppressing the voice of opposition on Bihar flood was totally 'baseless' and 'concocted'.
''Print and electronic meadia are giving due coverage of the statement on flood by Railway Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and other party leaders'', he said, adding that these coverages were even more than what the state government was being given by the media in Bihar.
To substantiate his argument, Mr Tiwari pointed out that the media was highlighting the shortcomings of the government in relief and rescue operation carried out in flood ravaged areas of North Bihar. More over, the state government was also taking cognisance of these facts and initiating remedial measures in this regard.
