Pune, Sept 13 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at several places in Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada during the next 48 hours.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Thane and Raigad districts.

Moderate to rather heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada, according to weather forecast for Maharashtra, excluding, Vidarbha and Goa.
