UT Admn. to start new series of registration numbers

Chandigarh, Sep 11 (UNI) The Chandigarh Administration has decided to start a new series of registration numbers of motor vehicles from the next month.

The new series will be CH-04-F. Motor vehicle owners desirous of obtaining a particular registration number against payment for their vehicle, can apply till September 24.

They are required to submit their application with prescribed amount upto September 24 in the office of Registering and Licensing Authority, Chandigarh on any working day.

Applicants would be informed about allotment of desired numbers depending upon number of claimants for particular number on September 26. Auction, if required, would be held on September 29 in this connection.
