SJVNL bags Green Tech Gold Award

Shimla, Sep 10 (UNI) Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL) has bagged the prestigious 9th Annual Green Tech Environment Excellence Gold award-2008.

Stating this here today SJVNL Deputy General Manger VK Verma said that the award was recieived by the Director, J K Sharma, during the 9th annual Global Environment Conference and Exo recently held at Gao.

He said that the SJVNL has got the award for meeting the parameters and excellent environment friendly polices adopted for proper dumping of muck and for rehabilition in its 1500 mega watt Nathpa Jahkri Power station and the 412 mega watt Rampur Hydro-electirc Power project.
