Police seizes 25 kg contraband in Bihar

Samastipur, Sep 10 (UNI) Bihar police seized 25 kg of ganja and arrested two smugglers from different places in the district early today.

Police said acting on a tip-off, a team of Bihar police raided two hideouts of smugglers at Lakhhi Chawk and Sonbarsa villages and recovered 25 kg of contraband, worth at Rs two lakh in the international market. They also rounded up two smugglers.

An FIR had been lodged in the local police station, the police said adding both the arrested were being interrogated to know their possible link with any inter-state gang of smugglers.
