Financial assistance to promote official languages

Shillong, Sep 10 (UNI) Official languages wing of the union ministry of Law and Justice is providing financial assistance to voluntary organizations for promotion of official languages in the field of law.

Official sources said here today that grants will be admissible for development and propagation of literature in the field of law in Hindi and other regional languages.

Additional grants would be considered for works in regional languages accompanied by its Hindi version, sources added.

The projects could be in the form of proposed commentaries, treaties, books on legal subjects, law journals, law compendiums and other publications which would be conducive to the enrichment, propagation, development and use of Hindi and official languages of the state in the field of law, sources stated.
