Pondy Governor releases 37,000 for fire affected families

Puducherry, Sep 9 (UNI) Puducherry Lt Governor Govind Singh Gurjar has released Rs 37,000 from the Lt Governor's welfare fund for those affected in the fire mishap at Vaithikuppam on August 14.

According to an official release here today, the money was handed over to the district collector to be disbursed among the affected 37 families identified by the revenue and disaster management department of the administration at the rate of Rs 1000 each.
