Dakota Fanning promises to live a good and clean teenage life

Washington, Sept 9 : American child actress Dakota Fanning, 14, has made a promise to live a clean and trouble free teenage life.

She insists that she will not have an unwanted teen pregnancy, get any tattoos or piercings until she turns 18.

She says that she has even sealed the pledge with a handshake in front of her mother, publicist, agent, and friends in this respect.

Though the agreement was made in a playful way, the star of 'The Secret Life of Bees' insists that she meant every word she said.

"I swear I won't do any of those things!" Fox News quoted her as saying.

The teen star has shown in so many ways that she is a serious actress, and her poise and comportment in "Bees" is such a revelation that she's likely to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress this year.
