Gold, silver rate up on Sep 7

Mumbai, Sep 8: On Monday, Sep 8, the value of standard mint gold and silver were up by Rs 35 at Rs 11,735 per ten gm and Rs 95 at Rs 19,970 per kg respectively from their last finish on fresh demand for festival and better advices from global and upcountry markets, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 19,970 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 11,735 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 11,800.
