Body of youth in gunny bag found on rail tracks

Sangrur, Sep 8 (UNI) The Railway Police today recovered the body of a youth, in his early twenties from the rail tracks near Barnala railway station on the Sangrur-Dhuri section.

According to police sources, the body bearing injuries inflicted with sharp-edged weapons was packed in a gunny bag and left in the middle of the rail tracks. Both the hands of the deceased had been severed from the rest of the body.

A case has been registered at the GRPF police station at Sangrur.
