Tamil Nadu CM hails NSG waiver

Chennai, Sep 7: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today hailed the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) waiver, which marked end of India's 34-year-long isolation from nuclear trade with the world.

''I join Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi in hailing the NSG waiver and congratulate India'', the Chief Minister said.

''On issues like this, political parties should sink their differences and approach the issues in the interest of the country,'' he added.
