Sonia to arrive at Tirupati on Sep 11

Tirupati, Sep 6 (UNI) Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will arrive here from New Delhi by a special flight on September 11.

According to offical sources, after interaction with 75 women Selp Help Groups' leaders here, Ms Gandhi would address a public meeting, which about one lakh women, belonging to SHGs from Nellore and Chittoor districts, would attend.

Later, she would proceed to Idupulapaya (Kadapa) by helicopter, where she is due to meet public representatives and party workers and inaugurate the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences .

Before leaving for Anantapur District, to participate in a rally and take blessings from Satya Sai Baba, Ms Gandhi would also address a public meeting in Kadapa Municipal Stadium.

During her one-day visit to Chittoor, Kadapa and Anantapur districts, tight security arrangements would be in place, the sources added.
