Kidnap case against Praja Rajyam leader Padma Rao

Hyderabad, Sep 6 (UNI) The city police today registered a case against the leader of Chiranjeevi's party Praja Rajyam, Kathi Padma Rao and his son Chetan on the complaint filed by the parents of Nalini stating that they had kidnapped their daughter with the connivance of Chiranjeevi and forced her to marry Chetan.

The parents alleged that their daughter was kidnapped and married to Padmarao's son Chetan in the presence of Chiranjeevi who they alleged forced their daughter to marry Chetan.

Police have booked a case under Sections 366 and 343 and 506 and the investigations were going on.

Earlier, they sought the intervention of state Home Minister K Jana Reddy in tracing out Nalini.
