Maharashtra to give Rs 11.20 cr assistance to Bihar
Mumbai, Sep 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Minister for Assistance and Rehabilitation Patangrao Kadam today said the state government will give Rs 11.20 crore assistance to the flood-ravaged Bihar.
Mr Kadam, in an official release here, said of the total assistance, Rs 10 crore would be the financial aid, while another Rs 1.20 crore would be in form of materials that would include 50 tonnes of tarpaulins, 10 tonnes of milkpowder and bedsheets to the displaced people.
He said a team carrying the assistance had already left for Bihar.
He and Principal Secretary, Assistance and Rehabilitation, Rameshuon would visit Bihar and hand over the cheque to the government, he added in the release.
