HP increases welfare pension of second world war soldiers
Shimla, Sep 5 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal announced to raise the welfare pension of second World War soldiers and their widows in state Assembly here today.
Chief Minister made a statement in the House announcing to lncrease the welfare pension of second world war soldiers and their widows from Rs 200 to Rs 500 per month.
Mr Dhumal said that during the previous session, the member Mohinder Singh had requested this august house to increase the welfare pension of second World War soldiers and their widows.
The members of the House welcomed this decision by thumping their desks.
