Lalu blames Advani for spurt in terrorism in country
New Delhi, Sep 3 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad today charged senior BJP leader and NDA's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani with fanning terrorism in the country.
The Babri Masjid's demolition, of which Mr Advani was the main accused, had given birth to terrorism which was growing today because of the hatred being spread by the Sangh Parivar, the RJD chief said, when told that Mr Advani and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at a press conference today charged the Centre for being soft towards terrorism and not allowing Gujarat to have a special anti-terror law to deal with the menace.
"The Sangh Parivar and Mr Advani are responsible for spreading 'venom' of hatred among communities, which led to spurt in terrorism," he said.
Mr Lalu Prasad said he had warned the BJP, Sangh Parivar and Mr Advani that if Masjid (Babri Masjid) was demolished, temples in the country would not be safe. "What are they doing today? Bajrang Dal activists attacking churches and killing Christians. It tells about their seriousness towards terrorism," he asked.
