Adhyapaks to observe black day on teachers' day
Bhopal, Sep 3 (UNI) About 1.5 lakh Adhyapaks in Madhya Pradesh will observe teachers' day on September 5 as black day demanding implementation of recommendations of sixth pay commission and service condition at par with government teachers.
Madhya Pradesh Rajya Adhyapak Sangh President Murlidhar Patidar said the Sangh had resorted to agitation as the state government overlooked the long-pending demands of the Adhyapaks, earlier known as Shikshakarmis.
Mr Patidar said resentment was prevailing among Adhyapaks for non-implementation of agreement with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on July 26 and the Sangh would demonstrate on September 4 in all 313 block headquarters to vent their anger against the government.
''We will resort to state-wide aggressive agitation, if the government fails to resolve our demands even after the peaceful protests '', Mr Patidar warned.
